Course Summary
This 1-semester part-time course will enable candidates to utilise data for operational and strategic decision making in business.

Through case studies, live projects and practical exercises, this programme gives non-technical managers a foundation and understanding of the world of data and the confidence to develop fundamental, business-oriented questions about what the business needs, what business value is and how data can be used to create business value.
Participants who complete this course will have developed the skills to demystify data and have meaningful data conversations at all levels in the organisation and develop data-driven business cases to deliver better decision making and increase competitiveness.
One night a week - Wednesdays (3 hours – 6.00pm to 9.00pm) for one semester.
Course fee is €150 payable when you accept your offer as follows:
- Instalment 1: €150 (non-refundable) is payable to confirm your acceptance of a course place.

Applicants should already hold a QQI Level 6 qualifications.
Applicants who do not meet the minimum education requirements but are 23 years or older and have relevant work experience may still apply for consideration by the Institute. If you are applying as a mature student be sure to submit your CV and any letters of reference you have from employers.
International students must have English level of IELTS 6.0 (or equivalent).
